Overview  

This semester's BUS105: Business Foundations course is hosting a series of individual assignments intended to draw from visiting lecturers, course readings, and corresponding quizzes. 

Throughout the duration of this course, this site will host Alyson Finnerty's individual assignment posts.  She is pursuing a B.S. of Sustainability with a certificate in Women's Leadership.  In particular, Alyson is interested in further investigating the intimate connection between women and the environment surrounding them.  Career opportunities pertaining to this include micro-financing, empowering holistic medicinal practitioners, etc.  

After working throughout the field of sustainability to empower both women and the environment, Alyson sees herself owning and operating an environmentally- conscious restaurant.  The restaurant would ideally serve non-native invasive species in replacement of over-utilized agricultural resources.  

Additionally, she is extremely passionate about the arts and intends to incorporate them into her professional life in any available capacity.  At the moment, she is contemplating minoring in Graphic Design and/or Marketing as well.
